The Event

WARNING! It's going to be 90 degrees during the day, luckily the event starts at 4. Plan accordingly and bring a layer as well.

We are requesting semi-formal attire. Guys, this means button-ups and pants minimum, ties optional. It'll be hot, so no jackets required. Gals, this means summer dresses or jumpsuits, with heels optional. It'll be outside (beware of high heels) and likely a hot day, so be prepared, but it's quite shady at the property as well. Feel free to have fun with the attire! We don't take ourselves seriously and we're having our wedding in an old Wild West hotel, so if a tailfeather jacket and tophat feels right then we won't judge.

Festivities will start at 4PM, do your best to arrive before then. An upcoming shuttle schedule will pick people up and drop them off if you need it.

If you're around the next day and want to see more of us, then come back to the hotel the next day around 11AM for some daytime festivites and brunch.

Getting There

Avery is a town nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains between Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe. If you are not in CA, it's not the easiest place to get to, we know, and cell service isn't the best. Sorry.

Please do your best to carpool.

Where to Stay

We strongly encourage you to make a trip out of it if you're coming all this way.

Nearby towns Murphys and Arnold are popular (but not Instagram-famous) destinations for locals. Murphys has a few hotels, many restaurants and bars, and plenty to do. If you're looking for a more quiet or outdoorsy getaway, consider an AirBnB in Arnold for a cabin experience that will give you more bang for your buck. We think Arnold is the best option, and many of our friends and family have cabins in the Blue Lake Springs neighborhood in Arnold, while others have already booked AirBnB cabins there. For those of you who do not want to spring for a cabin, we organized a discount hotel block at Murphy's Suites, 134 CA-4, Murphys, CA 95247. Call (209) 728-2121 with hotel block code KENYON. This should be a cheaper option, but we have no idea if the rooms are nice.

A shuttle will be provided to Murphys Suites multiple times in the evening. The driver will also stop at various locations in Arnold's Blue Lake Springs neighborhood. If staying elsewhere, then please coordinate a designated driver or other means of reaching the hotel. If you drunk drive, 💕 we'll kill you 💕
